CV Rick’s Ninja Writer Blog’s Saturday Morning Challenge goes as follows…
The rules are:
♥ Grab the nearest book.
♥ Open the book to page 123.
♥ Find the fifth sentence.
♥ Post the text of the next 4 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
♥ Don’t you dare dig for that “cool” or “intellectual” book on your shelf. Don't go to the other room to find that old textbook. I know you were thinking about it. Just pick up whatever is closest.

I wanted to share a book that I truly enjoyed, by a writer that I know, that hopefully you guys hadn’t read before. So I am sharing Between, Georgia by Joshilyn Jackson of Faster Than Kudzu. This is Joss’ second book, her first gods of Alabama was fabulous, I couldn’t put it down read. Her next is called the Girl Who Stopped Swimming scheduled for a March 2008 release from Warner Books.
I CAN NOT WAIT.
Henry laughed. He had a great laugh, throaty and low. He’d gotten it from his mama, along with the faint edges of his Cajun slur. “Got your key?”
I nodded, and we went up the stairs. A sign on the front door said WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE AND BUTTERFLY MUSEUM.

So as per Rick’s demonstration I will not tag anyone, but I hope you play along.

Thanks . . . it looks like Joshilyn Jackson does have a cool blog. I'll be adding it to my bookmarks.
Today I'm going to update my links. You'll be in them.
Here I was, doing fine with not blogging (for the most part) for the last several days, then you and CV Rick just HAD to entice me with something like this :)
Thank you :)
