I love Jake’s you’ve been tagged! What incredible fun we've had at Novel Investigations http://www.jcarsonblack.com/index.php/?p=244#comments and Murder She Writes http://www.murdershewrites.com/ with Jake's tag.
Here’s what you do. Pick the fact number of mine below you think is the lie, then write five facts about yourself, one being false, and we guess which one is the lie. In return I'm tagging Mary Lisa and Rose...
1) I got run over by a police officer
2) I use to own a monkey, but I always wanted an ostrich
3) I was seranaded by George Winston on my 50th birthday
4) I learned to surf went I was twelve
5) I applied for Martha Graham when I was in high school

Oh boy, this is a tough one.....
I'm guessing that #2 is the lie. I think you never wanted an ostrich!
Ha ha ha.
Thanks for playing Mary Lisa, I have to say you totally trumped and stumped me with your lie. Now I want to know what you were doing for that half a year while cutting class?
My answers…
1) I got run over by a police officer - true I was five, his name was Joe and he cried as he carried me home. I was fine if you don’t count bloody toes. Lesson learned, look both ways before running across the street.
2) I use to own a monkey, but I alway wanted an osterich - My aunt gave me a monkey named Mark Shilo when I was 15
3) I was seranaded by George Winston on my 50th birthday - Mr. Winston was in town for a concert, I interviewed him on the air and he serenaded me. He did not know it was my birthday.
4) I learned to surf went I was twelve - Lie, I was eleven and had to swim across Balboa bay before I could learn to surf…family rules.
5) I applied for Martha Graham when I was in high school - true. It was a disaster. But when I tried out for roller derby I made the team.
BTW George Winston is a delightful person, very down to earth and his favorite state...is Montana.
Hey, no fair. I didn't get to guess.
Rick I'm honored you dropped in, I'm not use to people reading my blog, and when Mary Lisa asked, I figured I better post.
You could go back and pretend you didn't read it :)
Ok, let me see....I think 4 is a lie :)
Damn you're good Rick.
BTW Mary Lisa, I did always want an ostrich and a llama too. In high school my nick name was ostrich... shortened to Ossie, I have a long neck that I was forever popping. It started a thing. Now I've got a collection of ostrichs - stuffed, ceramic, cartoon, photograpic - you name it some one has sent it to me... well all most, I've still not got a real one.
